Beginning a new week, going to be a busy one as usual, I have 3 pumpkins I haven't even had time to carve them, but I don't have any trick or treaters where I live. But I am taking Terra out this evening for a little while, she wants me to dress up, so I think I will. Lindsey went to Sloss Fright Furnish last night, I was surprised she said it was sort of stupid.

Today they buried my uncle Eddie, that is 2 uncles I have lost this year. It was sad but I know he is at a better place. He will be missed
Then I went to the harvest carnival at Terra's school for the afternoon, Lindsey had band practice until 5 waited for her before I left then wally world, rite aid, big lots, & Kmart looking for some orange ribbon that I could use outside for some decoration at the castle tomorrow, but there is none...only stuff for inside, I will call a few places tomorrow before I make all those stops. Came home fixed a pork loin, ate left dirty dishes and went back to school for basketball practice until 9pm then I was in the Explorer and Paul had not put gas in it so I drove back to wally world to get gas at 2.41 a gal instead of the 2.62 a gal by the interstate. Then I missed CSI. This is a normal day for me, no wonder I am frazzled........Anyone want to trade with me????

Took the day off to be with the girls, they will go back to school tomorrow after this short fall break. Had a busy weekend, Good Hope won the ballgame, we played Hanceville. I got to see Brian my cousin. He is band director for Hanceville, and I worked the concession stand for the band and it is the visiting side. I also seen Bethany Beasley, she has moved back here and is living with her grandmother. It was good to see her my gosh how she has grown up since I seen her last. Been cleaning my kitchen table is beginning to look better, it seems to catch everything from the other rooms. Maybe we can eat at the table tonight, then go to basketball practice. Terra chose number 44 for her uniform. She is doing quite well. She maybe my sports star. And Lindsey said she doesn't want to get her drivers permit yet. My gosh, I couldn't wait to get mine.

Here it is 10:42 pm just sitting down, after working all day, coming home to a house that was a mess, with 2 15 yr olds that did nothing all day. Came home Sara's mom was here, then my friend Kevin came, Melba had gotten the girls some color for their hair to streak it, so she helped them with that while I fixed a bit to eat, tried to eat, phone was ringing out of my purse,(instead of off the wall) and had to have terra at Basketball practice at 7:45 left here at 7:41, granted I can make it to the school that fast but I met this vehicle turning in our road as I was turning out and quess who it was...My mama she was needing me to notarize some papers for Uncle Eddie before he dies. She came over to the school because now we needed to be there. Melba left when i did and Kevin stayed since Paul had just come in from work. Now I am enjoying the quite time. Ya know what I mean?????

Home today, trying catch up with laundry, clean and everything else I can think of. School is out tomorrow for a short fall break, so Terra will have to go to daycare and Lindsey has gone home with her friend Sara. Had scheduled Lindsey an appt to get her contacts, now she says she doesn't want them. what is up with her? Seems like she does some of these things just to aggreviate me, what do you expect out of a 15 year old. I am planning on taking her Friday morning to take her test for her drivers permit. If she doesn't change her mind...Terra just came in from school she bought 3 grab bags at school, this is part of the harvest carnival coming up, she is like look I got bouncy balls, erasers, pencils and oh yeah some candy. I think most of it is candy. Will have to monitor the eating of this sugary stuff.

On Sunday took the girls to Abigail Adams birthday party at Heritage Park it was really nice a beautiful fall day. Then Sara, Lindsey's friend spent the night here. Don't usually let people stay when it is a school night, but Sara is almost like my child. Her mom and are good friends. Her name is Melba. Then today I worked cleaned the library at the castle. Took me all day. Lots of books to dust, just used the vacuum and took the dust off the top. Cleaned the fans and vaccumed everything I could. Got Terra's new glasses, Dark blue frames, she looks so cute in them. Threw some ribeyes on the grill that Paul had brought home. It's nice having a meat cutter here, I can't stand to buy from the grocery store anymore. He brings the best cuts home. Gotta go get some zzzzzz's Good night or rather good morning.

Been trying to clean house today, so many interuptions with the girls, and Lindsey really acted ugly today. It hormones I guess. Now she is gone to a band competition in Curry, now if I can get Terra to do anything. It's always wait a minute, I got to...do this first. yeah right. Maybe Brandi will stop by today if not I got to see her last time they came down. I hate for anybody to stop by today and see my house, it's terrible, I have so much stuff, trying to get rid of some. I would hate to let the people I work for see my mess. I do a great job at their house but can't even clean mine, what a bummer............

Hello folks, today was a busy day at work. This lady I worked for today, lives in a castle, well it is called LionCastle, this home used to be a flat roof, cedar sided very nice place, but she has completely remodeled and rebuilt the upstairs, downstairs there is a huge rock fireplace in the family room and pool table in rec area, kitchen with bar, 4 bedrooms and 2 bath, upstairs her bedroom alone is 2,500 sq ft., it has a sitting area with a lounge sofa and side chair and this huge armouir(?)for the tv, and a jazzuci and glass walk in shower and double wrap around vanity, and this is all open the only thing in there with a door is where the toilet is. And the biggest walk in closet I have ever seen, it is as big as my bedroom. The livingroom, kitchen, dining area are all open with about 30 ft vaulted ceiling the dining area is in the turret (the round room), and upstairs with a spiral staircase is the library. Only in my dreams. But anyway we got all the christmas decorations out of storage, she and I decorated last year and it was listed in the top 10 decorations to see. Her tree is 18 ft tall, I had to use and extension ladder to decorate it. But it is absolutely beautiful. I bet I carried in 50 huge boxes of stuff. Oh yeah she actually has a moat around the side and front section of the house, that is where I fell and broke my ankle in feb. of this year. I have some pictures I will try to scan and put them on later....

Boy did this weekend flew by way to fast. Now I am trying to figure out what to wear. My mom took a whole bunch of my clothes, good ones and all of Terra's that she had out grown, some only worn 1 time to my aunts yard sale, and I made a big whopping $8.50, I didn't mark any prices to high, compared to other yard sale stuff, so it is now sitting back in my clean livingroom, so depressing, I was hoping to sell and make enough to pay for band camp and buy her marching shoes, oh well back to square one. Just did a few things around here Sat. And this morning my neighbor and landlord called me at 8:15 she was on her way to Mississippi for a few days and wanted to know if I would clean her house today, Sunday. I really didn't want to but she knocks it off the rent so I did it. It wasn't in bad shape since I had cleaned it last week. But when I got thru we swam and laid out by the pool for several hrs. that was nice then we took the girls fishing for a little while this afternoon. I also had to buy a few groceries, now time to start another week and I dread tomorrow since tonight is the full moon they will come out in droves all kind of crazzzy people.........
Anyway gotta go catch ya'll later...........

been several days since i was on last, I had a good vacation, got most of my house cleaned, threw alot of stuff away. I have so much stuff, still. Had several chances to swim and enjoyed going on Mon. the last day off, then back to work on Tuesday, same ole stuff there, most everyone said they were glad I was back. That makes me feel good. The girls wanted to stay home a few more days, but I have to go back.

Sunday...Tried to accomplish some cleaning in the a.m. then went to Grocery store, cooked a good meal, fried chicken, haven't had it fried in a long time, real potatoes, peas, cornbread. You could tell Lindsey and Terra liked it they were quiet at the dinner table, and then watched a little tv and took a dip in the pool last night, water was about 88, felt somewhat cool until you got in and adjusted to it, then was very relaxing.
Monday so far.......Working in my storage shed, had pulled lots of boxes and things out to put up new storage shelf to have it more organized, it started getting dark and thundering so I had to just pile it all back in and just in time, the bottom fell.....So back inside to do some more stuff. Cooking a roast for dinner, with carrots, potatoes it should be good.

Well Dani I couldn't sleep thinking about you holding your breath, so check out the time my post is, I couldn't sleep so I figured might as well get up and do this while the girls are asleep, Since the last time I was on I seen Lindsey back from her trip to Washington DC and she had a wonderful time. She was very tired but talked my ears off. I am so glad she had the opportunity to go, she will never forget it. Since I was on last I got a promotion at work, I am not longer a tag hag aka tag clerk, I am a title clerk, got a small raise and not as much stress. I am not tied to my desk either, I inspect VINs on vehicles coming into Alabama, I had experience with titles when I worked at the car auction I worked there 9 years and that was about 13 years ago, a lot has changed so I am glad to have this opportunity. I find it amusing however that the majority of people when they sign on the back as seller, they sign like it is on the front of the title but with one exception, on the front your last name is first ie) smith billy bob and people sign it smith billy bob it should be billy bob smith, but since there are forms for everything from correcting this and that to a correction form to correct the 1st correction form, talk about paperwork. But overall I like it very much, people are much nicer since I only charge $18 per title, it is when they buy their tags they sometimes get ill. I am now a notary public so I can witness signatures and notarize this on my correction forms. Any way I am on vacation this week I am doing spring/summer cleaning in about 2-3 days and the rest of the time we will be in the pool (friend and neighbor nextdoors pool), maybe I will get just a little sun, but I love to swim now that I know how, but my favorite time to go is at night when all you hear are the crickets and an occasional dog barking, and can lay there and relax watching the stars. We will take the girls on a one day away from home outing but no actual vacation this year, but right now I have 174 accrued vacation hrs. so I can take more time later, maybe go to the mountains this fall. Are you breathing ok now Dani? Love you, I will update maybe Monday.
Going to try to go back to sleep.......................

Hey folks, well I seen Lindsey off to Washington D.C. this afternoon. Thank goodness Brandi and Jason were there and Lindsey's Aunt Darina. She was so exicted but I have been a nervous wreck. I know she will have a good time, the bus was very nice and she is going with a good bunch of teachers and other students and parents. Remember her in your prayers. She will return next Saturday. I can't wait to see her.

hey folks, I am so glad this week is over, busy day at work, and now to work at home the never ending job. We are starting to get things ready for Lindseys trip to D.C., she leaves on the 20th.
The tour company sent a letter home yesterday saying that no tour of the White House or one other place will be allowed and all bags, camera, cellphones and etc will be searched and or x-rayed. I am getting nervous about the trip and Lindsey is looking forward to it, keep her in your prayers during the week of the 20th. Lindsey got her report card today, she has always made A's this one has one B, she is a little upset. I told her she missed the a by 1 point, that is still good. I went to see Terra in a play at her school today, she was a bunny rabbit. It was so cute and the songs they did where good for 2nd graders, I took my lunch time to go, then didn't have time to eat. Now I have a headache, probably from not eating. Fixing to find me something to eat. Catch ya later................

hello everyone, this has been a busy weekend, I had to take paul to the dentist in b'ham friday, this was an all day thing. He had
to have 2 teeth cut out, ouch! Oral surgery. It cost $314 + prescription he has insurance but no dental. He was really in pain. Saturday was the school pagent where Terra goes, we had her hair done by Patsy Cruce at Hair Dynamics. She looked so pretty and she got in the top 10, Yeah Terra, not bad for her 1st pagent. She practiced hard all week and was just thrilled that she won a trophy. She wanted on like Lindsey's. Maybe I can get Brandi to post a pic of Terra on here for me. Today I cleaned house the best I could, now I am tired and have to get ready for another week. I will catch ya'll later

I haven't gotten on this journal in several days, the last time I did I put it on Lindseys lj not mine, so I hope I'm on mine today.
Lindsey is at Brandi and Jason's today and will be home later after church tonight, Terra is at
my sisters, so Paul and I have the day with no kids. This is something that hardly ever happens that they are both gone.
This week I have a meeting about Lindseys trip to D.C. in April, they say that D.C. is not a
hot spot for terrorist attacks with all the high security they have right now. So please keep
her in your prayers when she goes. This is a once in a lifetime chance for her to go with
her school, I will probably never have a chance to go.
Terra is going to be in a pagent at her school next Saturday, this is her first beauty pagent
she thinks it will be fun, I am not one of those parents who push their kids to do these things
but I hope she has fun.

I think I have this thing setup thanks to you Brandi. No sleeping late today, Lindsey had to be
at school at 7 a.m. for a math tournament. I just dropped her off, I got up with a killer head-
ache. Maybe it will go away. It is such a beauty day, sunny, and maybe near 70 today. I need
to clean house, and would like to work in flower beds today. Maybe later...............................
